Mkak Primary School toilet fundraiser - We're there!!!!
Humanitus are thrilled to announce that through a casual clothes day at Melbourne Grammar Schools Grimwade House and private donations from 'Friends of Humanitus' we have raised the required amount needed to construct a block of toilets at Mkak Primary School in Cambodia.
The construction of this toilet block will make an enormous difference to the lives of not only the children but all of the local villagers as presently there are no toilet facilities whatsoever in the area.
Building should commence around April 2010 and the project should be completed by June 2010 when two delegations of Humanitus Directors are due to visit Cambodia. Photos and information on the progress of this project will be made available on our website as soon as possible.
